Hello, Cinderella! And hello, prince whomever. We don’t really care about you, but we can pretend for a bit, because these new Cinderella posters look goooood.
A day after releasing the trailer for the original movie coming to Amazon Prime on September 3rd, we bring you new posters and a couple of new pictures from the movie. One of the pictures features the royal family, and can we say Minnie Driver always looks like a Queen to us? The other just features our heroine smiling, just like the first poster does. Except this time, the prince gets to show up in one poster! Well, two, because he is in the background alongside the fabulous Fairy Godmother Billy Porter, Idina Menzel plus Pierce Brosnan and Minnie Driver as the prince’s parents in the second one.
Either way, just stare at the pretty pictures that will either reaffirm your desire to see this movie, or …eh, we’re not sure what other option there is.
Cinderella is a musically-driven bold new take on the traditional story you grew up with. Our heroine (Cabello) is an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow, but with the help of her Fab G (Billy Porter), she is able to persevere and make her dreams come true.
Written for the screen and directed by Kay Cannon with covers of songs written by some of the top-selling musical artists of all time, Cinderella has an all-star cast that includes Idina Menzel, Minnie Driver, Nicholas Galitzine, with Billy Porter and Pierce Brosnan. Producers are James Corden, Leo Pearlman, Jonathan Kadin and Shannon McIntosh, and executive producers are Louise Rosner and Josephine Rose.
