Shia LeBouf is not my favorite person on any level. Yes, he’s a talented actor, I get that. But what he allegedly did to FKA Twigs is not forgivable.
If you don’t remember, back in December 2020, she filed a lawsuit against LeBouf for sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress. The details of their relationship are scary. She talked about how she once woke up from sleep, after raging at her, and choked her. He threw her against cars. The lawsuit also claims that he gave her an STD.
In an interview with The New York Times she had said, “I’d like to be able to raise awareness on the tactics that abusers use to control you and take away your agency.”
Margaret Qualley came under fire as she was dating LeBouf and continued to date him, even after the lawsuit was filed. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar she was asked about her support for Twigs.
Earlier this year, Qualley posted FKA Twigs cover with ELLE, and simply wrote “Thank You.”

She was asked about it and said, “It was important to me for her to know that I believe her—and it’s as simple as that.”
It’s important for others to know that they are believed, and we’re thankful that Qualley showed her support.
