Sibling relationships can be complicated. Especially when you have completely different personalities. In the Netflix series Pretty Smart, Emily Osment and Olivia Macklin play sisters Chelsea and Claire. Their personalities couldn’t be more different. While this show deals with their occasional clashes, it has a lot of heart and reminds us how important our siblings are.
I found Chelsea and Claire’s relationship to be relatable in a lot of ways. I have a sister and though we are identical twins, we do have our difference’s. At times, we both tend to underestimate each other but like Chelsea and Claire, at the end of the day we know we have each other’s back. We got a chance to chat with both Emily and Olivia about their characters and we got a bit of insight into just who Chelsea and Claire are.

Emily and Olivia were a delight to speak with and we even got a little guest appearance from Emily’s dog Joe. Both Emily and Olivia have a great understanding of who Chelsea and Claire are. They gave us some very good answers. We especially loved their answer to our question why they think watching Pretty Smart will bring people happiness. Both ladies agreed that audiences will be able to find themselves in at least one or more of the characters. And like Olivia said, you may see parts of yourself you would like to see or not.
After watching this show, we can agree with that because you will definitely be able to identify with quite a few of these characters. I know I had my moments when I felt like Chelsea, and I also had my moments when I felt like Claire. Also, I will now be referring to my sister as my SBFF (Sister Best Friends Forever). Pretty Smart is laugh out loud funny and right now we need all the laughter we can get.
