It has to be hard to be a member of one of the biggest groups in the world and in some ways, even harder to leave it. The world is examining your every move and wondering why you would leave.
Did everyone not get along? Was there drama that we didn’t know? What are people hiding?
The truth is that it’s none of our business. Won’t stop any of us from wanting to know, but it truly isn’t our business.
When Jesy left Little Mix, I was heartbroken. But I also think that we had all just dealt (all be it, a few years) with the “break” One Direction has remained on and fear consumed us all.
With the release of Jesy‘s solo music, she’s been doing some press and was asked if she has been talking to the other girls.
“I haven’t spoken to the girls,” Jesy told Glamour UK. “It is weird because for so many years we were as close as sisters, together every hour of the day for weeks, sharing beds, laughing, crying just 24/7 the four of us together and then… Nothing.”
Can’t imagine how hard that is. They were all so close and with the Little Mix babies being born, I would think they would all be spending time together. But I also can’t imagine what they are going through.
When asked if she’d met Perrie and Leigh-Anne‘s newborns, Jesy‘s answer kinda made me sad.
“No. I’ve sent a few texts, but that’s it. I can’t explain it, it’s like there has to be this distance. We were so close so you can’t do in-between, there has to be space and hopefully…” she said . “Hopefully at some point in the future we can all come back together. I love them. They are my sisters in so many ways, but for the time being we just don’t talk.”
We’re rooting for them all and will be following Jesy, and Little Mix‘s careers.
