In a world where we spent so much time alone and away from our friends and family, Pretty Smart is a show that feels like it’s welcoming us back to our pre-pandemic lives. Family is important but its also great to have some good friends you can hang out with. The roommates in Pretty Smart are more than that. They truly have become a tight knit family.
We got to sit down and chat with stars Gregg Sulkin, Cinthya Carmona, and Michael Hsu Rosen who play the fun characters Grant, Solana, and Jayden. Check out our interview as they tell us why they think Pretty Smart will be such an important show.
These three were so much fun to talk to and incredibly sweet. It felt like I was one of their friends living in the house with them. They all have such great energy. We just know Pretty Smart is going to be a show that makes so many people feel good and the cast thinks so too. For Gregg, Pretty Smart shows that friends are important, and he thinks it will be nice to get together with friends to binge watch a funny, heart-warming light-hearted show.
I really love our show because I think there’s a lot of meanness going on in the world right now. A lot of just… nasty meanness and our show is about people who are fundamentally kind to one another.

Cinthya agreed that in a time where we have been isolated, a show like Pretty Smart is going to give viewers the “delicious friendly energy” we all need. She went on to talk about how wonderful it felt to be able to hug everyone on set (The cast was all vaccinated and following COVID-19 protocols throughout filming). If you’re craving a fun show that will take your mind off the stress of the world, Pretty Smart is the one to watch.
