Hope and Lizzie may learn the hard way that things aren’t always in their control in Legacies 4×02, “There’s No I In Team, Or Whatever.” Hope must step aside to let Josie take the lead in a plan to save Landon. This break from Legacies‘ form is greatly appreciated on two accounts.
Hope needs to step away from the situation, if not to get a better perspective, then to give herself some rest. Alternatively, I love what Hope giving up control to Josie means for their friendship and Josie.
That means that Hope trusts Josie enough to lead such a critical mission. It also reiterates one of the oldest truths on Legacies: Hope Mikaelson believes in Josie Saltzman. Now we will get to see Josie become more comfortable with her magic after everything with Dark Josie.
Let’s not forget that Josie is the one who saves Hope from dying after the Berbalang bit her on Legacies 3×11, “You Can’t Run From Who You Are.” There is so much potential with this story!
Meanwhile, Lizzie volunteers for a fun event in Mystic Falls, but of course, everything doesn’t go to plan. A movie screening in the Town Square can never just be a movie screening in the town square. Not in Mystic Falls, where things bump in the day and the night.
You are highly mistaken if you don’t think Elizabeth Jenna Saltzman had a hand in organizing the Movie in the Square event, then you must not know that Caroline Forbes-Salvatore is her mother.
You can bet that she’ll have major animosity for whatever Malivore monster tries to ruin the event. But, it looks like there will be plenty of time for Lizzie to get to know Ethan better, maybe too well. Ethan may bite off more than he can chew if he stays in the Salvatore School for too long and wanders into the gymnasium.
Though, I would love to see Lizzie try to explain why MaliLandon is locked in a cage.
Check out the episode description:
THE TIME IS NOW – Hope has to relinquish control and allow Josie and the Super Squad to enact a risky plan that could save Landon. Landon and Cleo meet in Malivore’s darkness and learn more about one another. Meanwhile, Lizzie, Kaleb and Ethan volunteer together, and all does not go according to plan.
