November is going to be an amazing month for fandom. Why? Well not only do we get Taylor’s version of RED, but we also get a new Adele album.
I don’t know about you, I plan ahead for an Adele album release. Stock up on kleenex, comfort food, alcohol, and as silly as it seems, I buy a new set of sweats or pajamas just to wear when listening.
Adele’s Easy on Me has been on repeat in my house and I have been scouring the news and waiting for any more news on the album.
The singer was on Capital Breakfast about her new single, Easy On Me, Adele was asked if she had played the album for anyone of her artist friends. And she surprised me with who she had played the album for.
“I played it to Drake last year when he was in town,” she revealed. “And I was like ‘is this what people want, or not want?’ And he said ‘absolutely’ but that’s it really.’”
She continued, “Drake’s obviously incredible and amazing as well as being my mate, but I don’t send it around to various people being like ‘can I get your thoughts on this? It’s always about how it makes me feel, quality control is my forté, and I can write a song about my own experiences and my own life.”
We’re glad that she relies on her own quality control because it has alway been great.
Are you excited for Adele’s new album?
