When Adele announced that she had to postpone the start of her Las Vegas residency, I have to admit, I broke down in tears. It’s so different to see that side of a celebrity. But also seeing how it gutted Adele broke my heart.
“I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready,” Adele said in the video. “We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid. Half my crew and team are [ill] with Covid and still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show. I’m gutted — I’m sorry it’s so last minute, we’ve been awake for over 30 hours trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time. I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and so sorry to everyone that traveled to get [to the show]. I’m really, really sorry.”
“We’re going to reschedule all of the dates, we’re on it right now and I’m gonna finish my show and get it to where it’s supposed to be. We’ve been up against so much and it just ain’t ready. I’m really sorry.” she continued.
You can’t watch that video without feeling something and wanting her to know that it is okay and we all understand.

One of her biggest fans took to Tik Tok, and she’s hard the worst of luck trying to see Adele in concert. Eleni Sabracos had tried to see Adele at Madison Square Garden but ended up being turned away because she bought fake tickets. Ugh, the worst! But that didn’t make her stop wanting to see Adele, she flew all the way to London to see her, but the show was canceled.
And yes to make things worse for Eleni, she went to Vegas for opening night and it got postponed. The video that she had made, had gone viral and she went to Caesar’s Palace, and actually got the chance to Facetime with Adele.

We’re so happy for Eleni and love Adele’s commitment and love for her fans. We know that when the show does go live, it will be worth the wait.
