A Discovery of Witches is back for a final season in the trailer for season 3. After the events of season 2 and the death of her aunt, Diana is on the war path to change the world. Yes, she’s doing it for her aunt, her loved ones, and Matthew. But she’s also doing it for those that don’t have the power she has because she’s a champion of the people. And since we can’t contain ourselves, here are 7 things from the A Discovery of Witches trailer that we can’t stop thinking about, from Diana’s pregnancy to the upcoming #Bishmont moments we’re about to be blessed with!
1. How amazing Diana looks from start to finish
From the funeral to pregnancy and taking on Knox and his goons, Diana looks stunning from the very first moment you see her in the trailer for season 3 of A Discovery of Witches. And there’s no doubt in our minds that those who stand in her way will think the same thing too, overcome by her kindness, hope, and love before being destroyed or joining her side. That’s just how Diana rolls and we love her for it.
2. Diana and Matthew cuddling while pregnant
From this small clip alone you know that there is going to be pregnant domestic goodness coming out way that will end us all. Image Diana just chilling while Matthew massages her feet, takes care of her, and supports her as she takes on the world. Also, imagine if they have sex while she’s pregnant? Look, moms get horny too and they deserve to see themselves in the content they consume. We said, what we said.
3. The Knights of Lazarus coming together
Having never read the books for A Discovery of Witches, the Knights of Lazarus have always been a bit of afterthought. But there is something different about this time around. We feel it in our bones that this group will eventually be made up of a collective of creatures; from vampires to witches and more. That’s how change comes about and that’s how Knox finally gets put into his place as the future takes a hold.
4. These magical lilies made of water
As a long time fan of lilies, we don’t know what is happening in this particular scene but we are all for it. Magic on A Discovery of Witches is such a beautiful and wonderous thing that we enjoy any moment that gives us an insight into the true power of this unstoppable force. Hopefully this guy isn’t a human because that will cause a mess but by the look on his face he’s never seen something like this before.
5. The promise of Diana and Matthew having sexy times
A Discovery of Witches really knows what Bishmont fans want. Sexy times between Diana and Matthew isn’t about intercourse. It’s about connection, love, respect, and patience. It’s about giving the other person the pleasure they deserve because of the bond you have and understanding that together anything can be achieved. That’s why it’s a shame this is the last season of A Discovery of Witches but why we’re glad to be getting more in general.
6. Diana being ready to take on the world and then some
This Diana is utterly breathtaking and we’re not talking about looks because the outfit is something we’d never wear. No, we’re talking about her being breathtaking because of the determination on her face. This is a Diana that has faced trials and tribulations, lost loved ones, and grown into herself. Diana is the future as we know it and her being ready for what’s to come should make those in her way quake with fear.
7. Matthew looking upon the goddess that is Diana
It’s amazing to see that after all this time there is still utter devotion in the way that Matthew looks at Diana. She’s a goddes, a vision that he can’t look away from, and the partner he’s always desired but never thought himself good enough to actually be worthy of someone like her. And if this look is any indication, there’s going to be plenty more where that came from because these two are going to change the world as we know it.
