There are very few artists that I wait and obsess over an upcoming album for. Adele, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran are a few.
Leading up to any record release is always a lot of press and Ed Sheeran‘s manager spilled some great tea. Stuart Camp sat down and talked with Contact Music and said that the wait for Ed’s next album, after = (which is out now), will not be another four year wait.
Why?
Well, because he’s already got it made.
“This tour is going to span three or four years, and there will be another record within that cycle, that was always the plan,” he told them.
= (equals) is out now. This is my favourite album I’ve made, I’m so proud of it. Thank you to all the wonderful people who worked on it with me. To the fans, I hope you love it as much I do, it’s been a long journey to this point. Have a fantastic weekend xx pic.twitter.com/s8mQ1pLKYj

“Ed already knows what the next album is. He’s already got a track-listing for it, and I will get that changed over the next 12 months.” he continued.
We’ll take whatever music that Ed wants to release, because the man is a genius.
“Ed writes so many songs, and he wants to get them out, he doesn’t want them just sitting on his hard drive.” Stuart also added.
We can’t wait.
Are you a fan of Ed‘s? Whose albums do you wait anxiously for?
