Heartstopper has dropped its first teaser trailer for its Netlfix series and honestly, it looks like the kind of quality LGBTQ+ content this writer needed growing up. Based on the serialized and ongoing webcomic by Alice Oseman, it tells the story of the blossoming relationship between two teenage boys.
Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring are two students at an all-boys grammar school who go through a journey grounded in love, friendship, life, and mental illness. The Netflix series follows the same beats and the trailer, according to readers of the comic, feels like it was pulled right from the pages of this popular story.
Note: Heartstopper the comic is currently available to read on both Tapas, Tumblr, and Webtoon and there is the option to support it financially on Patreon.
