There are things that we understand and things that we don’t. One thing we don’t understand is not owning enough books to fill shelves and also we don’t understand buying 400 books at one time. But then again, we’re not rich and we’re also not having our home photographed for Architectural Digest. Ashley Tisdale is going viral for some comments that she made about all of those things.
“These bookshelves, I have to be honest, actually did not have books in them a couple days ago,” Ashley said in an Architectural Digest video. “I had my husband go to the bookstore and I was like, ‘You need to get 400 books.’”
“Obviously my husband was like, ‘We should be collecting books over time and putting them in the shelves.’ And I was like, ‘No, no, no, no,’” she said.
Of course this lead to the internet having a lot of opinions, but the thing is, Ashley isn’t afraid to respond to peoples opinions and we kinda love that.
Ashley took to Twitter to respond to the comments, “Sorry I haven’t been reading everybody’s tweets, I’ve recently just got a lot of new books to get through🙈.”
She added, “On a serious note tho, here are some books that I do want to recommend. I love self-help books because I love talking about mental health – it’s why I founded Frenshe. And if you wanna talk about books with me, you can join our book club – every Sat at 9am to talk about mental health on Instagram.com/frenshe. We’re reading Lucinda Bassett‘s Attacking Anxiety & Depression :).”
What do you think of Ashley having her husband buy 400 books? Do you care? Or are you like us and thinking you do you Ashley.
