Karen Gillan is on a roll with another movie releasing this April. First Netflix’s The Bubble and now the film Dual, where things get a little hairy when she needs to fight a clone of herself to the death. Because that’s totally normal isn’t it? Well, at least in the world directed by Riley Stearns it is.
After receiving a terminal diagnosis, Gillan’s character Sarah decides to go forward with a procedure to basically clone herself and ease the pain and suffering of her loved ones. The thing is, when she makes a recovery she’s given the news that she has one year to fight her clone to the death in a court-mandated duel.
What follows is Sarah slowly but surely finding her clone integrating herself into Sarah’s life, from her family to her friends and what looks like a lover. But she won’t go down without a fight thanks to Aaron Paul‘s character. From the looks of it, expect it to get messy as Sarah realizes she wants to live in Dual.

Dual is set to be released on April 15, 2022.
