Judd Apatow’s comedy The Bubble looks wild and kind of right up our alley thanks to the trailer Netflix just released.
It tells the story of a group of actors who are stuck inside a pandemic bubble. It’s a little on the nose but comedy has a way of reliving our stresses in a way no other genre does. Back to the story. So they’re stuck in a pandemic bubble at a hotel. The twist is that they’re trying to still finish a sequel to an action franchise about flying dinosaurs while trying to sneak out, hook up, and try not to meltdown.
The cast includes Karen Gillan, Leslie Mann, Iris Apatow, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, and Pedro Pascal. And while we love the collection of actors and appreciate their talents, there is one that we can’t stop looking at or talking about: Pedro Pascal. Seriously, what is he doing in this looking like that with glorious hair and makeup aka all our weaknesses? He looks great and we legit might watch the movie for him, no matter how ridiculous this looks.
Also, major props to Netflix for confusing the hell out of the internet with its release poster for “Cliff Beasts 6” and leaving us wondering how we missed all the other movies. Absolutely brilliant marketing on their part for The Bubble and definitely a move that will get people talking about it like we’re doing now.
