Anyone else unable to imagine a song being written about them? Just us. It feels like it’s something so personal and intimate. But then again, it’s a writers job to tell the stories that we are unable to tell ourselves. It’s a writers job to tell their truth.
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were one of our favorite couples and we were sad when the two of them split up. But not knowing their personal business, we tried not to think too much into it.
But then, as we listened to Shawns latest release, we felt bad. As though our hearts were breaking for the two of them. A break up is never an easy.
The world wondered, what did Camila think of the song, When You’re Gone? While talking to E! News Daily Pop, Shawn said, “Camila heard this song months ago, so we have a really honest relationship. I would never really put a song out about her before she would hear it.”
He added, “She knows me and I know her, and ultimately, we both are writers and we both know what it is to make music and what the bigger picture of making art is. We’re supportive of that, always.”
We’re so glad to hear that they’re supportive of each other. We love that for them.
