When it comes to therapy, we know that it’s definitely important. Hell, it’s what has kept us alive and moving forward with our lives. Therapy has definitely been a life saver.
There is such a stigma around mental health and we’re so thankful that the conversation surrounding it has been getting easier to have. We have been having more open conversations and letting people know that it is okay to not be okay.
Harry Styles opened up about therapy in an interview with Better Homes and Gardens and said that he once thought that therapy meant that you were “broken.”
“I thought it meant that you were broken,” he shared. “I wanted to be the one who could say I didn’t need it.”

And that makes sense, because we’ve thought the same thing. It took us going to therapy and really opening up to see that wasn’t the case at all. And that was the case with Harry. His visits to therapy, allowed him to “open up rooms in himself” that he was not aware of.
It allowed him to experience life more honestly.
It allowed him to not just emotionally coast in life.
The superstar went on to say, “I think that accepting living, being happy, hurting in the extremes, that is the most alive you can be. Losing it crying, losing it laughing—there’s no way, I don think, to feel more alive than that.”
We couldn’t agree more Harry. Do you?
