One of my friends mentioned to me the other day that I had never liked history, so she wanted to know why it was that I wouldn’t STFU about Becoming Elizabeth. Well, first, she’s wrong, I love history. And secondly, I won’t STFU about this show, because it’s really good and in a world where there are so many television and streaming options, one needs choices.
Becoming Elizabeth is the fascinating, untold story of the early life of England’s most iconic Queen. Long before she ascended the throne, young Elizabeth Tudor was an orphaned teenager who became embroiled in the political and sexual politics of the English court. The death of King Henry VIII sets into motion a dangerous scramble for power. His surviving children find themselves pawns in a game between the great families of England and the powers of Europe who vie for control of the country.
One of the best things about Becoming Elizabeth is its cast. They are absolutely amazing in the show. Whereas we’ve written about everything that we know about the show (so far or that we’re allowed to talk about), but we want to help you find the cast, because trust us, you’ll love them.
