It’s time to return to the world of PLL with the Pretty Little Liars: Origin Sin.
HBO Max released a teaser trailer for the series and honestly, it looks creepy AF. This is usually on par for PLL, but this teaser trailer feels like something straight out of Sinister. We get glimpses of a masked figure going through with evidence linked to what we assume are the heart of this show. There are pictures being nailed to a board, a note that says “You’re a bad mother,” and even a missing picture shredded. But what really sets it apart is the creepy masked figure with a glowing “A” scratched across its face.
Pretty Little Liars: Origin Sin tells the story of a small town torn by tragedy. Twenty years later, a new set of Little Liars are haunted by a mysterious Assailant. They want to make them pay for the sins of their parents. But there’s more to it. There always is. The Little Liars have their own secrets and they’ll do anything to protect them (if we’ve learned from previous PLL content) while trying to figure out the mystery surrounding them. So, expect a lot of mystery but be ready for a healthy serving of drama with a touch of horror.
