Sometimes you find something in life that you’ll never really be able to get over or move on from. What that is, it depends on who you are. It can be one thing. It can be many.
For us, one of those things is The Vampire Diaries universe. We know that it’s ended, for now, but we refuse to believe that it is forever. We need the world back and we won’t be settling for it being gone.
You never loose your home, right?
Julie Plec spoke to EW and she commented on the end of Legacies. With it being cancelled, there is a lot of sadness, not only for fans, but for everyone involved. The ending of the series was hard for Plec.
“What I felt in the moment was concern for the hundreds and hundreds of people who’d just lost their jobs across three of my shows,” she told the outlet “We did 331 episodes of television and a lot of people that worked on season 1 of Vampire Diaries worked on season 4 of Legacies.”
That definitely makes us sadder about the end, if we’re being honest. Our heart goes out to them. It’s gotta be so hard that after 331 episodes across the TVDU, to suddenly wake up and know it’s over.
We definitely feel that there are more stories to tell. So many more stories. And Plec, she agrees.
“There will be another one,” Plec said about the possibility. “We’re a little sad, we’re going to take a beat, but yeah, there’s more ideas. There’s more to do.”
We’ll be standing by and waiting, and definitely watching.
