Motherland: Fort Salem‘s 3×02’s “The Price of Work” sees the Camarilla making their move against the Mycelium, forcing the bonds between our favs to be tested in surprising ways. Raelle gets sucked into the Mycelium, not being seen most of the episode. Tally steps up as a leader. And Abigail starts to piece together what the Camarilla fear. Now they must face the Marshalls in the Cession and the fact that that creepy Camarilla escaped. Just a typical day for our unit in Motherland: Fort Salem.
Tally the Leader

Tally is scaring us. Not because she’s going to transform into someone like Nicte. No, that would never happen to Tally. We’re scared because of how much she’s growing, the path that her powers will take her on, and what she’s willing to do to save her family. She loves Raelle and Abigail. And now their little group has grown with the addition of Adil and Khalida. These people are her family. And when you threaten family, all bets are off. And that means for Tally as well.
It’s important to note that this soldier has always been a part of a unit. She’s functioned as an essential part of her team but always let others take the lead in significant ways. That doesn’t mean that Tally hasn’t stepped up. She has. But she’s been a team player. Motherland: Fort Salem 3×03 saw Tally shift into more of a leadership role because her friends are hurting but also because she’s starting to trust herself and her abilities in a way that she’s never done so before.
With that new confidence and the threat of death upon her family, Tally is going to push herself harder to see into the future. And it’s all born out of the deep love that Tally holds within herself, something that we think Nicte lost years ago. That’s why we fear for Tally but aren’t afraid of her. She’s powerful and we’ve only seen the beginning of what she can do. And we truly hope, with every fiber of our being, that she doesn’t pay the ultimate price to protect those she loves.
Abigail Starting to Piece It All Together

As much as we love everything happening with Tally and her growth as a leader and Raylla as a ship, there’s something so special about Abigail on Motherland: Fort Salem 3×03. Those bigots are shaking in their boots at the thought of a powerful witch like her changing the world for the better. They’re even more terrified that witches will unlock parts of themselves that will stop the Camarilla in their tracks. Because it isn’t about Abigail and Adil reproducing. It’s about them uniting.
It all comes down to that clip at the beginning of season 3 of Motherland: Fort Salem season 3 where the witches split. Together they were almighty and powerful. But they decided to share their knowledge with the world, weakening them in turn. Now, if the witches of this day and age come together and discover the powers of these witches, they will be unstoppable. And the bigots can’t have that, on a constant barrage of wanting to destroy witches because they feel threatened.
And they should be. Abigail is strong, resilient, and has a family to fight for. We’re not just talking about Tally and Raelle either. We’re talking about Adil and Khalida. Sure, she loves her boyfriend/partner and would do anything for him. But it’s the way that Abigail comforted Khalida that shows how connected she’s become to these two. They are what keeps her afloat in this darkness. And I feel absolutely pity for those that come for those that Abigail loves.
She’ll destroy them (especially that basically white Camarilla whose name I don’t care to remember) and we’ll just watch with popcorn.
Raelle and Scylla Looking Towards the Future

We want to start off by saying that we understand Abigail’s frustration at Raelle and Scylla wanting to run away together. But we understand why Raylla wants to do this. It’s not because they don’t love those around them. They do; even Scylla does. But dreaming and hoping keeps you alive sometimes, especially when things are hard. And that’s what Raelle and Scylla are doing. Dreaming. Because the world is ugly, painful, and something they’re running from.
It feels like that dream is ripped away from both of them when the Mycelium gets poisoned and Raelle gets taken. All of a sudden, it isn’t Raelle and Scylla. It’s only Scylla. And she has to step it up to make sure that Raelle comes back safe and sound. And not just to Scylla either. Raelle is family and Scylla understands that Tally and Abigail need her just as much. So Scylla steps up, does what needs to be done, and welcomes the support of Tally when she can’t take it anymore.
Ultimately, Scylla and the gang will find Raelle on Motherland: Fort Salem. It’s just a question of when and if they can outrun the Cessian Marshalls. But until then, we’re going to be proud of the ways that Scylla has grown as a person, friend, and partner. And wherever Raelle is, she knows she’s not alone. Scylla made sure of that. And it will be the one thing that will help Raelle pull away from the poisoned and dying Mycelium before it destroys her too.
