They’ve got secrets, but can they keep them? Who the fuck knows. But we’ll be soon to find out as the new iteration of Pretty Little Liars comes to HBO Max.
Judging by these new character posters we’re thinking that secrets are a little too much for them.
In the new series, Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco star as the new generation of liars. Joining them in the series is Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson, and Alex Aiono.
In this new series, “Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago…as well as their own.
In the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe — in a brand-new town, with a new generation of Little Liars.”
The ten-episode season will premiere the way that we don’t like it – with multiple episodes in a day. As a viewer that is a yay, but as a reviewer, oh the work.
The breakdown – Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, July 28 with three episodes. Two new episodes will follow on August 4 and 11, with the final three episodes debuting August 18.
