Yes, we follow Selena Gomez and we make no excuses. We love her and if you don’t that’s a you issue. One of the reasons we love her so much is she is honest and open.
This is a rare quality in a person now a days. Well it has been a rare quality for like ever and will probably be for like ever.
Selena has been doing a lot of press because season two of Only Murders In The Building and that means we’re finding out a lot of information. We’re down for it though, especially when she talks about other roles.
Cause you know a lot of possibilities of tea.
But there is not tea dishing here, except talking about how her character in Only Murders In The Building is a grown up version of Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place. She was on the with EW‘s Awardist Podcast, and said that she definitely “a thousand percent” uses what she learned in her days acting at Disney now.
“I feel like Mabel is an older version of Alex in a way,” Selena said on the podcast. “I adored being on that show so much. I felt like I did learn a lot. We actually had great writers — we had two writers that were on Friends — and we had an incredible director that we used for most of our seasons. We got really lucky. I still look back at that and laugh at certain things just because I thought it was so fun, and we tried.”
Though we can’t see it, we trust Selena (she knows the characters). And hey, even though we don’t like to admit that we don’t know everything, fact is we don’t.
Only Murders In The Building is streaming on Hulu now.
