We just got the most unexpected expected surprise. The After movie socials have released the official trailer for After Ever Happy, the final installment in the After film series based on the amazing books by Anna Todd. The trailer was supposed to drop on Friday but apparently Thursday is Friday in the Afterverse. We’re not complaining because we have been waiting for this.
Can you believe we are actually saying that this is the trailer for the final installment in this franchise? It seems like it’s coming to an end so fast. It’s been quite a ride and we’ve enjoyed being in Hessa world onscreen. The official trailer for After Ever Happy gave us all the feels and we’re not sure how we’re going to survive the movie.
As a shocking truth about a couple’s families emerges, the two lovers discover they are not so different from each other. Tessa is no longer the sweet, simple, good girl she was when she met Hardin — any more than he is the cruel, moody boy she fell so hard for.
How do we process all of this? There is a ton of emotion in this film. If you read the book then you should know we are going to be breaking into pieces watching Tessa and Hardin. This official trailer had a lot. We saw Hardin in the aftermath of finding out that Vance is his biological father, Tessa trying to help him cope with that, there was even a glimpse of the fire scene (IYKYK). Not to mention those New York scenes and the After book! COME ON!! Our jaws were wide open the whole time we watched the trailer and we just know Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin are going to be fantastic.
Both of them have shown tremendous growth throughout this franchise and we couldn’t have asked for a better set of actors to bring Anna Todd’s characters to life.
