We know that this was going to happen, because we watched the season finale of FBI: International, but that doesn’t make it any less painful to see someone we love exit a series. We loved Katrin Jaeger, but the actress who plays her, Christine Paul, has exited the series.

In the season finale, Jaeger got promoted at Europol and they were looking for someone to take over working with the fly team. When Scott went rogue, he was helped by Europol agent, Megan “Smitty” Garretson. She’ll be taking over as the liaison with the Fly Team. She’ll be with them wherever they are and will be the go between for every country that they work in.
We love that they wrote Paul’s character getting a promotion, essentially leaving the door open for her to guest star. We hope to see her again.
