Nothing in life gives me more anxiety than doing interviews. Celebrities are normal people, I get it. But there is something about sitting there and asking them questions that feels prying.
I know it’s part of their job and mine.
I’ve spoken to Julia Butters before and I have to say that this young woman is one of the smartest, most articulate, and mature celebrities that I have ever spoken to. I was nervous – as you’ll be able to tell by my interview and the really bad angle of my computer.
In the movie, Julia plays, Claire Fitzroy, the niece of Donald Fitzroy. She’s really the heart of the movie, the driving force behind Six and his motivation to survive. Sure, we’re all watching for Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling, but if you’re also paying attention to the story, you’ll see that Julia’s character is a motivation for most everyone in the movie.
And that’s what makes her the heart.
She’s very humble about her talent. Now, I was at a loss (as you can tell, cause I was stumbling over words) of what to say at times, because she’s so thorough with her answers and so articulate.
The Gray Man is about, CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.
