We’re always on board for a good movie and Focus Features always has the best. On this occasion, the studio presents us Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul, a spiritual comedy that is very human. Los Angeles hosted the world premiere of the film and we have the best footage, along with red carpet interviews with Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown, the film’s stars.

Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul is a satirical comedy starring Regina Hall as Trinitie Childs – the proud first lady of a Southern Baptist megachurch, who together with her husband Pastor Lee-Curtis Childs (Sterling K. Brown), once served a congregation in the tens of thousands. But after a scandal forces their church to temporarily close, Trinitie and Lee-Curtis must reopen their church and rebuild their congregation to make the biggest comeback that commodified religion has ever seen.
What to do when your whole life turns into a reality show that ends up falling apart? You should keep your head on the ground… even if you’re the only one who does. That is what happens to the leaders of this story who, through hilarious situations, tell us a story that is a stark criticism of society and show us the inner strength that we all have even if we think we don’t. Love is what unites the leading couple and what keeps them afloat.
