Finding something on or in your body that isn’t supposed to be there is a scary thing. It’s important that we know our bodies and get help when there is something wrong.
Actress Rachel Zegler opened up about a scare – a breast cancer scare. She posted on her Instagram story a photo of the scar from her biopsy.
“Two years ago I found a lump in my breast and went through what was undoubtedly the scariest week of my life,” Rachel wrote on her Instagram stories this weekend.

She continued writing, “No OB/GYN was taking new patients due to the backlog of the pandemic, but I was fortunate to have the care of my pediatrician who prescribed me an ultrasound, which led to an out-patient biopsy procedure. Thankfully it was benign.”
“And now the scar serves as a reminder to check my breasts regularly for any irregular growth – the fibroadenoma in my left breast is a common occurrence but nevertheless extremely scary to find. Early detection saves lives!!! Check your titty meat :),” Rachel ended the caption.
We’re so glad that she’s okay and so appreciative that she’s opened up about what she’s been through. Hopefully it inspires people and reminds people to check their breasts.
