TBH, when it comes to anything having to do with Warner Bros. lately, we don’t hold our breathe. We’re still angry about Batgirl and we will be for a very long time. We’re still angry about them not shelving The Flash, because Ezra Miller. We’re still angry over their slide show.
Yes, yes, we’re angry.
So when they studio says that they’re moving stuff around and that they’re doing this and that – we take it with a grain of salt. Because the moment we become invested, we’re afraid that they are going to rip the rug out from under us and make stupid choices.
And now we step off our soap box.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods was delayed again. Warner Bros pulled it off its release calendar. The original release date was April 1, 2022, and after a lot of changes between a release 2022 and 2023, it’s set to open on March 17, 2023.
We’re at the point we’ll believe it when we see it.
Rachel Zegler, who is new to the Shazam franchise, tweeted about the delay.
“thanks for all the love, mi familia — shazam!: fury of the gods now hits theaters march 17, 2023. hope to see you there.” she wrote.

She then added, “mostly sad because i had my shazam photo dump ready :(“

We mean, that’s a reason to be sad. We get it. And we also know that celebrities can’t always say everything, so we’re taking it for what it is.
We’re hoping now more delays. We shall see.
While I’m an impatient bastard who wants people to see it as soon as possible (the film will be fully done in just a few weeks), the move makes sense since Avatar was taking all IMAX/PLF screens. Fury of the Gods is a big movie & should be seen big! https://t.co/ErzZu41HiD
