We’ve been waiting for this! The thing is, anything involving the Pitch Perfect franchise is something that we can get behind – because we LOVE it. We have to admit that we may have gotten Peacock just for the new series, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin.
Yes, that’s how much we love the franchise.
Adam Devine returns as Bumper for the series. He will be joined by his Modern Family costar, Sarah Hyland in the upcoming series. Also in the cast are Flula Borg, Lera Abova, and Jameela Jamil.
In the series, “Bumper Allen moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs gets big in Berlin.”
“I love our cast in part because I’ve worked with so many of them already,” Executive Producer Elizabeth Banks said to People. “Adam obviously from the original Pitch Perfect, Sarah Hyland from my Modern Family days, Flula I proudly directed in Pitch Perfect 2 and Jameela is my sister from another mister. Even Udo Kier, who I did one of my first photo shoots with …. He probably doesn’t remember that.”
We’re excited that this is a television series versus a movie, so that we can get to know the characters better. Especially Bumper. We’ve never really felt like we knew much about him.
The series, Pitch Perfect: Bumper In Berlin, will premiere on November 23.
