Chicago P.D. 10×06 “Sympathetic Reflex” is a Kevin Atwater episode, and it’s hopefully truly a team-having-Kev’s-back kinda episode because that’s just what needs to be from that synopsis. We’re all team Kevin Atwater, okay? At all times, but especially when it seems like he’s being discriminated against because of who he is.
This episode also presents a golden opportunity for Chicago P.D. to do something it has routinely failed at — establish this team as a family. “Strength in family” cannot just be a cute line. And that logline is already severely compromised by the way Jesse Lee Soffer was written out, so like, the least they could do is at least make the team rally around Kevin. Truly, the least they could do.
