Love is Blind season 3 tests what it means to fall in love. Do looks, money, and other things matter when it comes to matters of the heart? Or can you fall in love with someone sight unseen? Again, we are watching a bunch of hopefuls navigate these questions in season 3 of the series. And since we can’t control selves, here is our breakdown of episodes 5-7!
If you want to check out our thoughts on episodes 1-4, click here.
1. Have your feelings changed in general for the show in comparison to how you felt watching episodes 1-4?
Lizzie: We got to turn DRAMA, and now I feel like everyone has given me a reason to side-eye them. Except Brennon, he’s perfect. And Nancy, she’s perfect too. Except Brennon can stay with Alexa and Nancy better not end up with Bartise. But these episodes made the show more interesting, for sure. I’m invested in the positives and negatives now! Marry, my favorites. Don’t marry, couple I hate. And …figure out your shit, Matt. Figure out your shit.
Lyra: I feel like episodes 1-4 and 5-7 are like night and day. Completely different and full of the juicy drama my messy ass likes. But my ration side is absolutely pissed on behalf of Nancy and Colleen. They deserve better and I felt myself wanting to jump through the screen to knock some sense into these people. As for the men, Brennan is perfect and SK has got his shit together and is planning a future that definitely won’t have Raven in it because she’s going to bounce at the altar. But damn do SK and Raven look good together on Love is Blind.

2. Which couple do you think will make it down the aisle?
Lizzie: I’d be shocked if Brennon and Alexa don’t get married. Even though she’s certainly more privileged than him, I think they’ve meshed well and they seem to complement each other and bring out the best of each other. And they’re really the only ones I care about or really think should get married right about now. With the editing they’re getting, they probably will, so there’s that.
Lyra: Honestly, I agree with Lizzie. And I don’t even love Brennon and Alexa as a couple anymore. Yeah, sure, they have great sex. But what else is there? Also, she’s so blase about not wearing the same outfits more than once, how she doesn’t want her way of living to change, and how she’s going to be a stay-at-home mom. (Which, nothing wrong with stay-at-home parents.) Good for asserting yourself, but this is a partnership and he clearly can’t do it on his own. And it feels like you’re putting your foot down and saying, “This is how I want it to be” before even hearing your partner out and planning together. But smart of you to get a prenup because we know you’re loaded enough not to do a thing in your life ever again. Which, I’m totally jealous. :p

3. Is there someone you now absolutely loathe?
Lizzie: Bartise. 100%. He’s a tool and he seems to go from hot to cold. Plus, I don’t know that he really respects Nancy and he keeps bringing up ‘looks’ like a negative. Not that I like Cole, okay? Let’s be clear about that. But Bartise is still winning in the how bad are you category on Love is Blind that I thought Cole would have locked up. So, hey, good for you, Cole. Someone managed to be worse than you!
Lyra: Bartise with the power of a thousand suns. He made Nancy cry. Like I didn’t think I was that emotionally invested in Nancy but when she started crying I was like, “Woah.” Oh and then there’s Matt with his weird ass possessiveness that is giving off so much red flags that I want to tell Colleen to run! And then there’s Raven. You’re obviously not attracted to SK and not willing to make this work when it comes to investing in both of your futures. If you’re not ready to settle down, cool. But tell him. Because SK, that man has plans.

4. Who deserves better?
Lizzie: Nancy. Girl, run away. He doesn’t love you like you deserve. In fact, I don’t even know that he loves you. He sure as hell doesn’t respect the things you’ve done, how hard you’ve worked, your experiences or your ideals. So, yes …Run. Away.
Lyra: Nancy. She deserves better. In fact, someone give me her digits, please. I will make her happy, support all her endeavors, and be a lean mean machine together. Because that woman right there is a ride-or-die kind of person. And I’m so glad that she’s got her brothers to support her and call out assholes when they treat her like garbage. Imagine the wedding when he leaves her? Ohhhh they gonna be livid!

Also, Bartise and the whole abortion thing proved that he’s a child and she’s a woman. She’s ready to make the hard decisions, she’s ready to try, and she’s ready to talk. But he’s really firm on his decision and had the nerve to use it against her the first time they introduced her to his parents. And it got even more ridiculous when the sister started breaking out the dramatics. Girl, this is just theoretical, and this is how you’re gonna act? Yeah, no. Run, Nancy. Run in that jean dress of yours that was screaming Latina. Run.
5. If you could switch the couples around, who would be your perfect pairing?
Lizzie: No one deserves Bartise. Or Cole. I’m kinda okay with Raven and SK now, not like super in love, but I guess I can see why they go well together. Still not convinced it’s gonna work out, but they did have more in common than I thought. Brennon and Alexa are good — I get more feelings from them than Lyra, that’s for sure. I think she’s a little closed off, but I think she just has a hard time being vulnerable in front of the cameras.. Still kinda iffy on Matt, but I think his issues would be the same with everyone, so not really.
Lyra: Honestly, I wonder what Nancy and Brennon would be like? She’s a badass and he’s a hard worker who appreciates people and would have her back. I think they could conquer the world. I would even take Nancy and Andrew at this point. Do you hear me right now? I would take that fake crier who was a carbon copy of the 50 Shades of Grey dude. That’s where I’m at. Also, was it just me or did Zanab and Matt have some vibes going on? I don’t know. I think I just want everyone to switch up.
