Also, the interviews on the red carpet preview something of what awaits us in Enola Holmes 2. And, from what we see, in the sequel, we will all enjoy much more action, social criticism, feminism, intrigue, and romance. And yeah, we’re here for this!
Enola Holmes is characterized not only for being a film in which you solve a particularly difficult enigma but also for criticizing the sexism of the society of the time in which it is set. The film is committed to a feminine gaze in a world of men.
And it shows a badass and empowered protagonist who is a role model for every girl who enjoys Enola’s adventures. Enola Holmes 2promises not only to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor but to go much further. And we love it! Also, our ship will be on fire so this movie is a win-win.
I’m passionate about strong women, complex characters and a ship that unites the two, but above all, I love writing about them and unraveling the intricacies behind each character. The need to put those thoughts into words was what led me to become a critic. The time as a professional one taught me that writing is an art and, therefore, it never stops changing and offering new experiences.
