Adventure strikes again! Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter return in Enola Holmes 2 — where a mystery of historic proportions takes 2 Holmes to handle. Directed by Harry Bradbeer and also starring: Louis Partridge, Adeel Akhtar, David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster.
In the trailer, we see that Enola is starting her career as a full-fledged investigator, but being a woman and having the last name Holmes weighs too much in the society of the time. The people who come to her are mainly looking for her brother.
But Enola is not going to give up, so she fights until she finds the ideal case for her. The case is a new adventure and a new puzzle to solve for her…but she will not be alone. Our favorite ship is back with a vengeance and we love these babies!
Enola breaks the fourth wall on this occasion as well and shares her impressions with the viewer, making them part of the story. The other Sherlock that drives us crazy AKA Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes tries to protect his sister Enola without realizing that she doesn’t need or want him to. Sherlock is unable to control Enola or clip her wings.
He is investigating his own case but there comes a time when his path crosses with Enola’s, much to their annoyance. But two Sherlocks are still better than one, right?
