When it comes to books, we have read a lot of them. We know that sometimes we’re going to have to wait long periods of time for the books that we love to be brought to life.
And judging by this trailer, we’re really happy that we had to wait, because something great is coming. When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serle has been adapted and will be released this October. Only the name was changed for the adaptation. It’s now, Rosaline.
The movie is a, “…fresh and comedic twist on Shakespeare’s classic love story Romeo & Juliet, is told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline (Kaitlyn Dever), who also happens to be Romeo’s recent love interest. Heartbroken when Romeo (Kyle Allen) meets Juliet (Isabela Merced) and begins to pursue her, Rosaline schemes to foil the famous romance and win back her guy.”
The book has been adapted to film with Kaitlyn Dever set to star as Rosaline, Kyle Allen set to star as Romeo, Sean Teale as Dario, and Isabella Merced as Rosaline (among many other talented actors).
The movie will premiere exclusively on Hulu, October 14th. We’ll be watching. Will you?
