It’s happened to the best of us – you’re sitting at the airport and you become entranced in something and the next thing you know, you’ve missed your flight.
Okay, okay, it’s actually never happened to most of us, because if we’re at the airport, we’re getting the fuck out. But for actor Tyler Hynes, he’s actually missed a flight due to reading a script. That script? Three Wise Men and a Baby.
“Kimberley and Paul wrote a script that was unbelievable,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I actually missed my flight reading the script to go shoot the movie. I was in the airport and I sat down and I was like, ‘I’m early. OK, I’ve got some time.’ I sat down in front of the gate and I pulled out my phone and I started to read the script. Didn’t think I would get too far into it, but I started reading it and I couldn’t stop.”
He continued, “And then at some point somebody texted me asking about my flight and how it was, and I looked up and I was alone. I immediately jumped up and called my travel agent that I had missed my flight. I fully looked down and started reading this thing and didn’t look up.”
Inquiring minds have quite a few questions.
Was it LAX? And if so, how could you not want to get out of there ASAP?
How does one get that engrossed in reading on their phone?
Was the travel agent able to find you a flight soon after?
What can we say, we’re curious. But for real, if it was LAX, we don’t understand.
Three Wise Men and Baby is out now on The Hallmark Channel.
