Will we have something to say about the Harry & Meghan documentary? Yes. But we’ve made the choice to wait until everything is released, because well, we want to know it all before we form an opinion.
The first three episodes have left us loving the couple even more than we had and well, it looks like the next three and going to be absolutely explosive.
“They were happy to lie to protect my brother but weren’t willing to tell the truth to protect us,” Prince Harry says in the newly released trailer for the second part of the series that Netflix released this morning.
That sentence alone is turning us all on edge, intrigued with what is coming next and asking ourselves just what the institution has done.
The series offers, “an unprecedented and in-depth documentary series, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex share the other side of their high-profile love story. Across six episodes, the series explores the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution. With commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press, the series does more than illuminate one couple’s love story, it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other. From the critically-acclaimed, two-time Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning director Liz Garbus, Harry & Meghan is a never-before-seen look at one of the most-discussed couples in history.”
Episode 4-6 of Harry & Meghan will premiere December 15th on Netflix.
