When we were younger, we kinda thought that our parents time in high school had to have been like it was in the movie Grease, minus the music. They just had to have been the nerds. See, our parents couldn’t sing and there was no way that they were that cool.
However, alas, their experience was nothing like the times at Rydell High. So rather than listen to their stories, we’d rewatch Grease and wish we were one of the Pink Ladies.
We’re ready to see how the Pink Ladies came to be. Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies has released it’s first teaser and well, we’re definitely all in for this prequel, which takes place four years prior to the Grease that we know.
The prequel series stars Marisa Davila as Jane, Cheyenne Isabel Wells as Olivia, Ari Notartomaso as Cynthia, Tricia Fukuhara as Nancy, Shanel Bailey as Hazel, Madison Thompson as Susan, Johnathan Nieves as Richie, Jason Schmidt as Buddy, Maxwell Whittington-Cooper as Wally and Jackie Hoffman as Asst. Principal McGee.
See the teaser below.
Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies premieres on April 6th.
