With Teen Wolf: The Movie premiering on Paramount+ in less than two weeks, the Wolf Watch YouTube channel released the first episode of a mini behind-the-scenes series detailing the cast’s excitement about returning for the film. The 26-minute video features cast interviews, antics, and tiny scoops on what’s to be expected from the film. However, one thing is clear: the pack is glad to be back.
All cast members had nothing but good things to say about coming back to Beacon Hills and were gushing about how much they adore their fellow family. It turns out some cast members are even real-life roommates, which just shows how strong the family bond is. On the other hand, Orny Adams is a little bit salty that none of his so-called family has come to see his stand-up show, as he uses his moments in the interview for essential comedic relief. Hang in there, coach.
The cast walked us through the set as they expressed their joy to be filming back in Atlanta, reminiscing on the nostalgia of filming the series. Many cast members expressed the warped feeling of having played teenagers as adults and now getting to play those same characters at an age closer to their own. Although, it also means they get to bring a lot more authenticity to their roles and their characters’ struggles in this phase of their life.
Also, WHO IS MALIA GOING TO KISS? Shelley Hennig featured a small scoop on the film as she details how close a family the cast is, to the point where kissing scenes feel not-so-great. She dishes that when the undisclosed recipient found out about Malia’s kiss in the movie, it was fair to say they were less than thrilled. But in all honesty, are she and Scott still a thing? Would they be a thing considering they have to get Allison out of the void headspace? Is there someone new?
Many cast members expressed joy at Allison’s return and how the storyline made perfect sense for the movie. Some said that bringing Allison back was one of the best reason’s to make this movie, as it closes out the storyline where it started. Honestly, agreed. Having a full circle moment and showing these characters’ growth in their time away from our screens is probably the best way to extend closure to any fandom.
If anything, we look forward to the homey, family, action-packed return of Beacon Hills’ best. Of course, we can’t help but miss Dylan O’Brien and Arden Cho (read HERE on how she got done dirty), as Beacon Hill’s family is never fully complete without them. However, we look forward to the cast stepping back into their shoes and bringing us the memories and growth we’ve been looking forward to.
