Way back when My Big Fat Greek Wedding premiered, we have to admit that we bought a lot of Windex. Hey, it was supposed to be a cure for everything.
And we were down for all the cures.
What we realized though was that Windex was really only good for us to clean mirrors and to make sure that didn’t eat something (cause it would inevitably back spray on things).
The third installment of the franchise is coming and Focus Features has set a premiere date for the movie. Mark your calendars for September 8th.
The third installment of the franchise was written by series creator Nia Vardalos.
“The sweet friendship which bloomed from the producers’ first taking a chance on me then grew into a beautiful relationship as they entrusted me to direct this installment of our franchise,” Vardalos said in a statement. “We filmed our family reunion entirely in Greece, which was thrilling for us all. Plus, we ate for free.”
Nia is starring, but also returning are John Corbett, Louis Mandylor, Elena Kampouris, Maria Vacratsis, Andrea Martin, Elias Kacavas, Gia Carides, Joey Fatone and Melina Kotselou.
