Lately, we’ve been really in to spy shows. It doesn’t matter if it’s FBI, CIA, or whatever. We just know that we’re going to watch it.
We’ve had screeners for The Night Agent for what seems like forever and have watched it multiple times. Yes, that’s in part because of how much we love a good spy show and in part because of Gabriel Basso. What can we say? We love him.
He spoke about what he thinks that Peter Sutherland will be like in the second season of the show.
“He’s an agent now, but he’s an extension of executive power, so what does that look like with a new president?” he said when speaking with Entertainment Weekly, “Also, out of a desire to protect Rose, would he involve her in this life that might put her at risk? Selfishly, I’m sure he’d want her around, but it would be dangerous.”
Gabriel continued, “A lot of thought has to be put into what it means to have that job and be that person that’s able to drop everything and go. You can’t really have things, like family, that most people would want to have.”
We’re intrigued and also a little scared as to what could happen. Why? Because the first season was so intense and we truly can’t wait to see what season two brings and how the up the intensity.
