‘Single Drunk Female’ Renewed For Season 2 is hands down the show on television that I can relate to the most. It’s the only show where I truly feel that you are doing yourself a disservice. The show is particularly moving, captivating, and some of the best writing that we’ve seen.
And it’s real. Like it’s one of the realest shows that I have ever seen.
Single Drunk Female tells the story of Samantha Fink, who assaults her boss when she’s drunk and it sets off a bunch of s**t that goes wrong in her life. She gets arrested, goes to rehab, and ends up having to move back home with her Mom.
Her Mom – Carol – is just not the person you want to move back in with. It’s a lot for Sam and rebuilding her life, is just a lot. But sometimes, we all need a big wakeup call and for Sam this is it. It’s her call to get sober.
In Single Drunk Female, Ian Gomez plays Bob, Carol’s boyfriend. How he puts up with her, I haven’t figured out yet. Personally I would have ran away if I was Bob. But Gomez explains why Bob loves Carol, what is going on with Bob this season, and when we’ll possibly learn more about Bob.
