Chicago Fire 11×19 “Take A Shot at The King” sees the show return from a long hiatus with an episode that will put Carver in danger and will make Stella, Boden, Ritter and Herrmann try to fight against the system. Sounds like the setup for one of those episodes this show does very well, the kind that will deliver all the family feels — and we’re always here for that.
We’re also here for a storyline that gives Ritter more to do than stand in the background and have opinions about other people’s storylines. Darren Ritter deserves that and more — and so do the fans, if we’re being honest.
And hey, if the episode can deliver an update on Severide and/or Casey, then that would just be the icing on the cake. Just saying. With only three more episodes before the season finale, icing would be good. No, icing would be great. Not saying we’re concerned about Severide’s absence, but …is he coming back?
