Rumors are a bitch. If we’re being honest, they are one of the worst things in the world. People who spread them make me so mad, because rumors affect peoples lives and it’s not always in the most positive of ways.
But when it comes to rumors of casting, I feel a little like I am talking out both sides of my mouth, because I love a casting rumor. Get my hopes up, tell me who may or may not be in a role. I am there for it all.
And then there is the part of me that doesn’t take rumors seriously, because I know the way that Hollywood works. If you are seen with someone, then you are obviously dating that person or starring in something that they are doing.
And that, my friends, is how the rumor that Mila Kunis is starring in Fantastic Four started. She explained the rumor to James Corden, on The Late, Late Show with James Corden (RIP to this show, we will forever miss you).
“Apparently if you go to lunch with somebody that is also in the industry, then you guys start working together, according to the internet,” she said in regards to the rumors of her playing Sue Storm, because she was seen in the real world with the reboot director, Matt Shakman.
She continued, “We went out to a deli, and we had lunch together. Then the next day I was somehow in Fantastic Four.“
TBH, the most important thing to me in that sentence is that she went to a deli. Like I am wondering which one. What did she get? I now want a salami sandwich.
“I am not in Fantastic Four, but I know who is,” she continued. We don’t know who is in Fantastic Four, but we are excited to see what happens and who is cast.
