Our Fridays just got really busy. Why? Well because starting July 14th, our summers became all about the second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Now are we excited about this? Absolutely. And strangely, what we’re also excited about is that we’re not going to get all the episodes at once. Instead we’re going to need to wait, as the premiere will only be the first three episodes.
After the first three episodes, there will be one episode that premieres every Friday until the season finale on August 18th.
The episodes are entitled –

Episode 202 – “Love Scene”
Episode 203 – “Love Sick”
Episode 204 – “Love Game”
Episode 205 – “Love Fool”
Episode 206 – “Love Fest”
Episode 207 – “Love Affair”
Episode 208 – “Love Triangle”
The official synopsis of season two reads as, “Belly used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, but with Conrad and Jeremiah fighting over her heart and the return of Susannah’s cancer, she’s not sure summer will ever be the same. When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah’s beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together—and to decide once and for all where her heart lies.”
We’re definitely wondering what will happen in the second season and what parts of It’s Not Summer Without You, will make it into the show.
The second season of the show added Kyra Sedgwick and Elsie Fisher to the cast, but the details of who they are playing is under wraps. The two have been cast in recurring roles.
The adaptation of Jenny Han‘s book also stars Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Alfredo Narciso, Rachel Blanchard and Tom Everett Scott.
