We watch a lot of TV! In case all the reviews, interviews, news, and features didn’t give you a clue (wink, wink), we’ve decided to come together once a week to highlight all those great moments that our favorite shows give us throughout the week. On these Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?
Here we go!
Badass Character of the Week

Raquel: This week I have many candidates for this category but I am going to opt for two: Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury. I mean, Charlotte stayed on her feet when George was falling and still had the strength to lift him off the ground. A queen indeed. And Lady Danbury hardly knew happiness. She knew contempt, disgust, and humiliation all too well, but still, she fought tooth and nail for her independence and her freedom. And she gets it.
Lizzie: Kevin Atwater, Chicago P.D. Kevin had a hard week this week, but I think the hardest thing he did wasn’t catching the bad guy, it was opening himself up to his dad. It was looking at the case in front of him and realizing what the parallels were and that he had a chance that this other kid in front of him didn’t, he had his dad back, and he could try to build a relationship with him. Lew might not be perfect, but he is trying, and that means something.
Honorary Mention to Ted Lasso’s Jamie Tartt, who is the epitome of character growth. You go, Jamie. You go.
Erin: I think that I am going to have to with Missy McMurray. She’s having to travel a hard road and it’s one that is definitely keeping her on her toes. But it’s her finding her way through, and knowing that she has so much to learn about the man she loved and that she’ll most likely never get her answers. Her husband died and she has to face the secrets that he left behind. And that’s not easy.
OTP of the Week

Raquel: You know I love Chenford but this week it’s for Charlotte and George from Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. A love at first sight that almost foundered due to a lack of communication, but that came out ahead thanks to the fact that Charlotte was strong enough for both of them when she had to be. I love them!
Rebecca: After the show had a week off air, I for one was VERY happy to get THAT decidedly electric #Hilletti moment in #TheCompanyYouKeep on Sunday as Emma taped a wire to Charlie’s skin. While I don’t know whether the pair will indeed get back together – as I really hope they do – I’ll take any and all crumbs of those two I can get!
Shana: Still here for Tai and Van and their delicious angst in the adult timeline. 100%. And because I can’t fit it in anywhere else, shoutout to Van for her Sceam poster. The taste!
Lizzie: Kacy is back in my life, and Kacy is back in these Feels of the Week! And they were all flirty this week too, while being extremely good at their job, too.I will forever appreciate the casualness with which NCIS: Hawai’i treats the two of them, because yes, their relationship is normal. Just two women who love each other, that’s it.
Erin: Kacy is back. Kacy is back. IYKYK.
Moment that made you collapse into a puddle of FEELS
Raquel: George’s love confession to Charlotte in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Seeing George torn apart as he confesses how he tried to be someone different to stay with her while he was dying inside for not being able to do it struck a chord with me. It’s heartbreakingly beautiful.
Rebecca: Ollie is one of my favourite characters in The Company You Keep and, having wanted to be and feel part of the family business for a couple of episodes now, it melted my heart to see her finally get her wish as she was ‘invited’ down into the basement and given a gift of a key to the room by her mom Birdie as the rest of the family looked on with proud smiles.
Shana: When Shauna wakes up and finds out the truth in Yellowjackets 2×06. Really, that whole episode’s everything as it relates to teen Shauna. If Sophie Nélisse isn’t on every single awards season list of nominees for this, we’re gonna riot.
Erin: Missy and Tuff talking on Ride and her asking if she’s not enough. What if she’s not enough. I feel like we all feel that way at times and seeing her break, but Tuff being there for her… I burst into tears.
Lizzie: That moment between Keeley and Rebecca on Ted Lasso was …it got to me. It was too women being there for each other, and being honest and just …uplifiting each other, not just when it’s easy, but when it’s hard. And Rebecca saying “I got you,” is what we wanted to hear. It’s what we needed to hear. She’s got Keeley, no matter what. But also, honorary mention to that convo in the locker room with the entire team discussing consent. Well, done, Ted Lasso. Well done.
Quote of the Week

Raquel: “You did not go over the wall.” “No, George. I did not go over the wall.” – George and Charlotte, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
Rebecca: I recently posted on Twitter that I think #TheCompanyYouKeep’s Leo and Fran are #couplegoals. This thought was solidified for me this week by the scene where, having admitted to his wife that he’s scared (notably about his diagnosis), Fran replies: “…It’s just you and me. I’m not going anywhere.” Sometimes all any of us need is a few kind, comforting words from a loved one, and it made me smile to see Fran offer that support and reassurance.
Shana: Can I say pretty much the entire Yellowjackets 2×06 script? No? Ok…I’ll go with a funny one then. “She’s the one who decided to act out by dating a cop.” Never change, Shauna. Never. Change.
Lizzie: Beard: You have a great mom and dad, and they love you tons, even though it’s weird they live in different countries. And I know right now it feels like you’re in a sad song. But you, young man, you have the power to take a sad song and make it better. – Ted Lasso.
WTF Moment of the Week
Raquel: Not fixing the fight between Shaun and Glassy in The Good Doctor season finale was the worst of the week for me. After years of growing father-son relationship to end up like this…it’s horrible.
Shana: I can not stress my giant what the everloving fuck over the end of Organized Crime 3×20 enough. Kathy, as a cliffhanger, when she went boom??? Really?! No thank you.
Lizzie: Okay, but what exactly was it with the High Evolutionary and his experiments on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? The animals?! The children?! Made me want to rage all over. One is usually glad when the villain is taken down, but I was really, really glad when this villain was taken down, and the way he was taken down.
