Netflix has dropped some brand new season 2 first images for Heartstopper and they’re all adorable. From what we can tell, the gang is heading to Paris for a big school trip. And the first-look images show Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Kit Connor) being adorable with a cheesy AF map of Paris. Then there’s Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell), with the former looking at the latter with heart eyes, healing our sapphic hearts.
We do get to see more images of Charlie and Nick being adorable at school. But the one image we can’t stop staring at is Elle (Yasmin Finney) and Tao (William Tao). Are they on a first date?! Because Elle’s hair is stunning, per usual. But look at Tao’s hair all brushed and gelled. It’s adorable! Also, please drop the details as to where those popcorn buckets are from because that’s going to be another mystery of Heartstopper season 2.
Altogether, season 2 is going to test our favorite couples, bring them closer together, and hopefully continue telling an honest story about what it means to be part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2023. Because with states, nosey laws, and Republicans trying to take our rights away left and right, this story is more than necessary. It’s essential and will save lives.
