It’s hard to believe we’re really typing that. OBX4. But we are. And though the season is still far away, at least it’s starting to take shape. Filming has started, (though, with the WGA on strike, and the possibility of a SAG-AFTRA strike looming, we should all consider these early days of filming shaky), and even though it’s still very early days, we have a confirmation that the season will happen. And that it will show us what transpired between the Pogues finally getting a win and that 18-month time jump.
And truly, we need some answers after the end of Season 3. Like, how did Mike and Anna react? What’s Jiara’s relationship status? What happened when they all got back? How long did it take for them to get the gold? How much did they even get? Did they all get some much-needed therapy?
Yeah, the answers are likely (hopefully?) a 2024 thing, but at least the actors are here. On our screens. In character. That’s a win.
