Jennifer Lawrence is hilarious and we’ve always known that about her. She’s always been able to make us laugh and when she laughs it’s just naturally infectious.
It’s part of what makes us love her so much.
The actress has been promoting her film, No Hard Feelings. If you aren’t familiar with the film, it’s about, “On the brink of losing her childhood home, a desperate woman agrees to date a wealthy couple’s introverted and awkward 19-year-old son before he leaves for college.”
We all know Jennifer Lawrence, but I think we can all agree that we’ve never really seen her do comedy.
But no worries, in No Hard Feelings, she’s making her comedy debut. But why now? Why this movie?
“I read the script, and it was just too funny. It was the funniest thing I had ever read,” Jennifer said on  GMA about the movie that was inspired by a Craigslist ad of all things.
“Yeah, about four years ago — the director’s a good friend of mine. We’ve been friends for a long time. And we were getting dinner, and he showed me the Craigslist ad,” Jennifer continued. “And I just thought it was hilarious, but I in no way thought I was gonna, like, be in the movie or that — there was no movie. It was just the ad, and we laughed about it. And then four years later, he sent me the script.”
“You’d be doing certain scenes, and you’d get so focused on the scene that when you, like, zoom out and remember what the movie’s about, it’s just so funny,” Jennifer said.
We love that Jennifer is trying comedy. We can’t wait to see No Hard Feelings.
