We’ve long been excited for anything Barbie in our lives. Maybe it’s because when we were little, we would ask for one every Christmas. Maybe it’s because we greatly appreciate the job of the marketing team of the upcoming Barbie movie.
While not a lot is known about the actual premise (we’re shocked too, people in this world can keep a secret), we do know with this all star cast has even more excited for the film.

So many great Barbies in this movie – Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Nicola Coughlan, Alexandra Shipp, Ritu Arya, Hari Nef, Emma Mackey, Dua Lipa, Ana Cruz Kayne, and Sharon Rooney are also set to play Barbies in the upcoming film. The main Barbie, we know will be Margot Robbie.
While Ryan Gosling is the main character Ken he’s not the only Ken. Ncuti Gatwa, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, & Scott Evans will play Kens alongside the actor.
Of course there are humans and in this movie, Helen Mirren will act as the movie’s narrator. The other humans are Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Connor Swindells, and Jamie Demetriou.
Greta Gerwig directed from a script that she co-wrote with her husband Noah Baumbach.
Barbie is set to be released in theaters on July 21, 2023.
