We’re trying to understand why people feel the need to be cruel. We’re trying to understand why people feel that fictional characters need to be a certain way. We’re trying to understand why anyone would ever feel the need to make any racist comments.

The casting of Rachel Zegler has been met with some controversy, as the actress was cast as Snow White in the live action Disney film. While we’ll try to not get political here, we do find it hard to not tell people to STFU.
Toxic fans (and hey, here we’re using that term loosely, cause not sure they are actually fans and not just blowhards) had previously made comments about an actress of Colombian American descent taking on the role of Snow White.
This past week, more issues have arisen online due to pictures from the set (which we won’t link to, because we don’t trust the source and we aren’t using anything from them here) and that’s brought up Rachel’s casting once again.
While we can’t even imagine what it would be like to have the world commenting on everything we say or do, we would remind everyone that Rachel is right, every child can be a princess.
Rachel took to Twitter and said, “extremely appreciative of the love i feel from those defending me online, but please don’t tag me in the nonsensical discourse about my casting.”
“i really, truly do not want to see it,” she continued.
She ended with, “so i leave you w these photos! i hope every child knows they can be a princess no matter what”
